It’s a busy night in the local curry house. As father and son Abdul and Khalid struggle to deal with all of the customers ‘out front’, and the staff in the kitchen, they also have to decide on the future of the family business. Will Khalid carry on the family business, or is this the end?
A delicious fusion of comedy play and cookery, where two actors play all the roles... often in the same scene!
Joining them will be a local chef from Saathi restaurant in Hexham, offering a spicy cookery demonstration, and a chance to share food and conversation with chef and the cast.
Written by Nick Ahad and directed by Stefan Escreet, this is deliciously entertaining for all the family!
“This is a chef’s special, a deliciously funny and occasionally dramatically-daring concoction of a play.” British Theatre Guide
