Kickstart your dance journey or explore something new with our exciting taster workshops on Saturday 16 August!

This Dance City taster session is presented by Queen’s Hall and led by Melissa Davy, founder of Hoodoo Blues and the driving force behind the vibrant blues dance scene in Newcastle and Hexham.

This taster class will explore the roots of blues dancing and get you moving to a variety of classic blues tracks, think Etta James, Nina Simone, and Muddy Waters.

No experience or partner necessary.

Ideally, you want a shoe with a low heel and a smooth sole.
