For young people aged 11 - 18 living in West Northumberland, passionate about music, events, and making a difference.
Funded by Youth Music and delivered by Queen's Hall and industry experts, this year’s Key Change programme builds on the success of last year where participants created and ran Find Festival. Find out more about Key Change 2023 here.
This year, the group will have the opportunity to learn about and programme Find Festival Fringe events. Discover the exciting world of event planning, from coming up with ideas to organising logistics and managing performances. This hands-on experience will provide members with real-life opportunities to put your creativity and passion into practice.
The group will also get the chance to join a newly formed Youth Board allowing you to represent youth voice in the local arts and cultural scene.
Key Change Northumberland is committed to amplifying the voices of young individuals like yourself.
The Key Change Youth Group meets fortnightly on Tuesdays in term time, 4.30 - 6.30pm.
In addition to all the incredible opportunities we've already mentioned, we are thrilled to offer Key Change participants the chance to earn Arts Awards.
Here are the dates of the Key Change Youth group sessions until the end of 2024:
Tuesday 19 November, 4.30 - 6.30pm
Tuesday 3 December, 4.30 - 6.30pm
Tuesday 17 December, 4.30 - 6.30pm
There will be activities, workshops and visits outside of these sessions and there is an expectation that you will be working on tasks between sessions in your own time.
