Want to write fiction or poetry? If so, try our creative writing courses which have been specially designed for aspiring young writers.
Meeting fortnightly at Queen’s Hall Arts Centre, you’ll explore how to create captivating characters and gripping plot lines and get valuable, constructive feedback on your writing with professional writer and group leader Amanda Quinn.
Amanda is a writer and tutor who lives in Newcastle upon Tyne. Her short stories and poems have been published online and in print. She teaches creative writing and has delivered courses and workshops online and in community centres, libraries, museums, day centres, and schools across North East England to encourage and support people to write. She is particularly interested in helping people benefit from being creative in their everyday lives and her sessions are designed to be enjoyable as well as inspiring.
