CATS in SPACE – are a British classic rock band brimming with majestic songs, boasting soaring vocal harmonies, power chord guitars, thundering drums and bass as well as huge, symphonic keyboards.
Since landing on the UK Rock scene in 2015 with their debut album Too Many Gods, touring major UK arenas as special guests to Status Quo, Deep Purple, Thunder and Blue Oyster Cult, and with classy festival appearances alongside Phil Collins and Blondie at London’s Hyde Park they have built up a reputation as one of the finest bands to emerge this century with their unique “70s inspired Classic Rock sounds”.
Headlining their own tours in support of additional hit albums, has helped cement the band’s reputation even further.
Their last three studio albums, and indeed their 2024 double live album Fire in the night, all hit the top regions of the UK charts.
Now, with their latest studio album and first on the newly signed Esoteric/Cherry Red label, Time Machine, made Number One in both the National Rock Chart and National independent Chart whilst also scooping Album of the Year in no less than five music publications.
The band’s 2024 Time Machine Tour saw a unique visual stage production which elevated their live reputation to a whole new level and was described in the press as “a rock show like no other that is the best-value-for-money production ever seen in theatres”.
And now in 2025 we will see them celebrate in grand style, both in the UK and Europe, with their Too Many Gods 10th Anniversary Shows which guarantee another visual extravaganza.
The band members boast impressive pedigrees, having worked and performed with such musical giants as Asia, Ian Gillan, T’Pau, The Sweet, Robin Trower And Jeff Wayne’s War Of The Worlds. Their musical history and arsenal of incredible songs, will guarantee to deliver a musical feast of the highest calibre with an evening of original rock music unequalled by anyone on today's scene.
“...an unstoppable avalanche of preposterous proportions, a theatre extravaganza that was pure entertainment for over two hours. It was like they were hard wired into your nervous system, inducing unadulterated adulation...”
“Take your pick of any song played tonight and you’ll get lost in a mini-symphony with its own story, leaving us once again marvelling at the strength of the catalogue and the power of what had been witnessed tonight.”
"Horns parp, choirs wail, guitars soar like roving search beams and Queen's 'A Night At The Opera' hears it all and goes home with its tail between its legs."
“It’s escapism not heard on this kind of cinematic scale since ‘Quadrophenia’ and ‘War of the Worlds’...Utterly show stopping...”
